Guru Rinpoche Statue — Explanatory Guide
In this degenerate age, the world is increasingly afflicted by abnormal climate patterns, frequent natural and man-made disasters, widespread plagues, and ongoing warfare. Many people face overwhelming obstacles, emotional distress, and even depression in both their personal and professional lives. These sufferings vividly reflect the Buddha’s prophecy concerning the age of degeneration.
To help alleviate the suffering of this dark era, marked by the five defilements, and to dispel the countless obstacles faced by sentient beings, we have aspired to create and offer statues of Guru Rinpoche to bless places across the world.
According to The Magical Net of Manjushri Tantra, Guru Rinpoche is a manifestation of Amitabha Buddha who embodies the Vajra Speech of all Buddhas. In essence, Guru Rinpoche is inseparable from all enlightened beings. For those tormented by suffering, sincere prayers to Guru Rinpoche swiftly invoke his blessings, which powerfully dispel hostile forces and adverse conditions. As Guru Rinpoche himself declared:
“For those with heartfelt devotion and unwavering faith in me, my compassion will arrive more swiftly and fiercely than that of any other Buddha. Until the end of samsara, my compassion will never cease.”
Great masters have prophesied that wherever Guru Rinpoche’s image and mantra are present, it is as though he himself is truly there. In such places, all manner of obstacles and unfavorable conditions are effortlessly pacified. Inspired by these sacred words, and with the aspiration to spread the Dharma and benefit all beings, we have commissioned this statue of Guru Rinpoche. Through it, we hope that countless sentient beings may establish a connection with him and receive both temporary blessings and the ultimate benefit of liberation.
This statue is imbued with profound blessings. Its design was carefully reviewed and approved by respected masters. It is crafted from pure, uncontaminated materials—such as jewelry-grade copper—and sculpted with exceptional artistry. The statue has been fully consecrated according to authentic tantric rituals, ensuring that it serves as a powerful and sacred support for Dharma practice.
The statue’s interior is filled with sacred scriptures brushed with a mixture of six precious medicinal substances, including saffron, borneol, and cypress powder. Among the enshrined texts are The Single Son Tantra, The Heart Mantra of Guru Rinpoche, and The Dharani of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. At its core is the srog shing (life-tree), made of selected sandalwood, around which are placed numerous sacred and precious substances: gold, silver, red coral, turquoise, agate, Nanjiang carnelian, crystal, and more.
It also contains rare and blessed substances, including:
Red and white bodhi mendrup of Guru Rinpoche
Ingredients from the “Great Freedom 95 Mendrup”
Flesh relics from seven generations of Brahmins
Relics of Indian master Gang Rinpoche
Fish meat from Lake Mapam Yumtso
108 Tibetan medicinal substances and sacred ingredients from the Kadampa stupa
